2024 Legacy Gala

Proceeds from the Legacy Gala directly benefit the Teen Center. Teen Center has grown immensely over the last year. In early 2023, discussions began regarding Teen Center moving into Burke High School. By April we had plans to move into the building and we moved in June 6, 2023. What began as a what-if idea became a reality and one of the best decisions for our Teen Center members,  our partnership with Burke High School, and the larger school community. During the 2023-2024 school year, we established our Return To Learn protocol, RTL, where students can come to the Teen Center during the school day seeking academic or emotional support from trusted adults to ensure students can reach their full potential in a structured academic setting. When asked why is it important to have access to Teen Center during the day, Zack said, "Having access to Teen Center makes me feel safer during school because I know that if I'm having a hard time, I always have someone I can rely on."  If you want to donate an item to our silent auction, please get in touch with Julie Butler at julie@teencenteromaha.org or 531-233-9780.
